trans american trail ride

Post by Lee Dodge » Tue Jan 15, 2013 12:09 pm

I'm seriously considering a TAT ride this coming summer and want to see if there's any interest among the KLR community who might be interested. Current thinking is to leave from an entry point at the Mississippi / Arkansas and go to The Pacific. I live in Wisconsin and would probably ride to Arkansas meet up and ride back to Wisconsin after the TAT. I think a small group like 3 would be optimum but??. If you have an interest and want to discuss joining such a ride please get back to me either by e-mail or phone. If you have experience in doing the TAT I'd be very interested in consulting you . . you would be a "must contact resource" Your Thoughts, Lee Dodge ldodge3082@yahoo,com 510.220.2235 cl I think using this list as the communication intersection might be inappropriate. No, this list would be totally appropriate for planning your trip. I have many riders come to my shop as I am on the TAT and one of the last signs of civilization heading west for many miles. So they stop here to get prepared to push across the desert. I have been involved with the TAT from the beginning and I can answer most of your questions as can many others on this list. What information are you looking for? You mean in Goggle Chrome (as opposed to Internet Explorer or Firefox)? See this picture: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1008927/Google%20Chrome%20home%20page.JPG Yours might look a little different, especially if you have additional toolbars enabled. Then: Are you typing in the "omnibox" (the one where, in my picture it shows "https://www.google.com/" ? Or, are you typing in the search box below, in the main window - just above where it says "Google Search" and "I'm feeling lucky" ? To change the behavior of either method, you have to go to Settings, also known as the Chrome menu . That's the 3 horizontal stripes on the far right, under the red "X" Click the Chrome menuChrome menuon the browser toolbar. Select*Settings*. Click*Show advanced settings*and find the "Passwords and forms" section. Deselect the "Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click" checkbox.
