ride to work day!

Post by Randall » Wed Jul 21, 2004 9:37 pm

I rode the 25 miles to work this afternoon. Got to try the new "LED 1157" tail bulb from Auto Zone (jamstrait brand). It was on sale at $10.96! HMMMMM, maybe it'll show up better on the way home, around 11:30 pm. :) And my valves are very happy, they're at the max clearance as well.

I did. Took the Wing and joined about 10% of the guys at the construction site. Really good to see more scooters than normal. I did my part by waving to all, most returned the wave which was good to know that we enjoy the same things. I did have to remind several of the guys yesterday and I am glad to see that they participated. Enjoy the ride Randy in AR [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I envy you guys that have a job and can ride to work. I can't do that. I don't have a job. I retired five years ago, but I did ride today, first to the dentist, almost like work,in that the ride is better than the destination, and later in the day rode to the DQ with nine of my closest friends. We rode the *broken pot freeway* in Phoenix. YES> it was hot with full helmets. H.O.V. lane @65 mph next to 4 lanes of 10 mph gridlock was fun.Jose y Lisa Szt A18

ride to work day!

I ride every work day, rain or shine. I went into work early today to park in a cage spot close to the door. I expected our special motorcyle parking to quickly fill up so I parked in 1/4 of a cage spot so that three more bikes could join me. Sadly I saw only the same bikes that I always see in the garage, no new riders. Guess next year I should do some promotion?

I ride to work every day year round (20 miles + a 1hr ferry ride), since my employer pays for the ferry if I ride a bike. God I love my job!

I got up this am and took off on big red(A18) Got down town and saw it was 62 degrees, and went back home and climed back into bed. I did get up a couple hours later,(temp in the 70's) and took a nice trip to Knoxville Tn. and back. I put on 175 miles and had a Gr8 ride. I found out people riding Harleys get unfriendly when they are passed on the interstate. ha ha ha............ Joe A18 SE Ky --- "James L. Miller Jr." wrote:
