I ship USPS Priority mail! The offer to the list is still same shipping method but half off till this coming Sunday. And if I were trying to turn a profit on the shipping and handling it would have to be higher, I don't make any profit off of shipping and handling! I am glad that worked for you and so you are not in need of this handy kit as others on this list may be. That is one thing that is great about the KLR, one with the knowledge and time can make a farkle for the KLR and those that don't have the knowledge or time can benefit from others that make that farkle available to them at a reasonable cost. I think we should leave the guy alone about the shipping and say thanks for offering stuff for the KLR. There are a ton of folks selling parts for the KLR, and not all of them have the lowest prices one might imagine. Likewise, some of us can't imagine letting someone else work on our bikes, while others are nervous about checking valves, changing tires, or even changing an oil filter. What's an easy crimp and solder for one rider is an intimidating electrical nightmare for another. It was a vendor friday post, fair and square. Not trying to be uppity, but the guy didn't ask our opinions on his shipping, he was just posting about a product some folks might be interested in. -Luke

Now I know why there's so few KLR vendors. How about a bitch session on why it cost $30 instead of $25? Or why he's not using the mini ATO fuses? Give the guy a break. $37.50 isn't that much to have a plug'n'play fuse holder that's waterproof with those connectors. -Bobby

I agree, if you don't feel the price is fair, don't buy it. Or better yet, make the part cheaper and better and sell it yourself.

And furthermore; if its just an envelope,fine but a "package" has to be taken to UPS, the USPO or other shipper. I've got stuff I'd gladly give away but no one would pay the packaging, handling and shipping.

I agree that the shipping rate is the vendor's call. We can either buy or not buy based on our perception of value. The alternative is to keep beating up on him until he (quite rightly) has enough and goes elsewhere.
