Anybody know anything about these things? They go between the spark plug and coil, supposed to change your life even better than Scientology or plastic surgery, or an invitation to the next Kardashian wedding. KLR isn't listed in the applications, but the company says the F1 model fits. -JWF

There's some discussion about the iBOOSTER on Thumper Talk but the comments all seem to be negative.

Many years ago, one mod that British bikers used to make to help out the
"Prince of Darkness" electrics on their machines was to cut the spark
plug cable and put a small brass screw into each of the two pieces, then
tape it back together with a small gap between the screw heads.
This way the electrical charge builds up to jump the small gap, and
fires the plug more reliably.
One size fits all, and I am told that it did help, mind you, helping
Lucas Electric products is rumoured to be pretty easy, since most
alterations were for the better.

Snake oil. The company that makes these is trying to get a company that I'm on the board of to market these things. We are humoring them right now because they may be financing one of our product lines, but it's flat-out bullshit.
We colloquially call them the "magic beans". If we do anything with them at all it will not be associated with our technology group at all. We don't want our name anywhere near them.

2011 yellowstone ride.
Hey dual-sport riders, I posted a video on youtube of our ride from the northwest to Yellowstone/Tetons/Beartooth Pass in July of this year taking the roads less travelled. It's a really rough editing job, mostly because we ran out of time (It takes forever to edit these things on an older computer with older software). So, for now, it has no music and it's pretty choppy and it's longer than we anticipated. It's in four parts, each 5 minutes long. I'm the only one on a KLR. The camera man is riding a Triumph Tiger and my other friend is on a GS1200.
If interested, this is part 1. Parts 2 through 4 should show up on the related videos to the right >>> http://youtu.be/9eIGNFZFu1U

OK, I'm thinking it's a capacitor or a coil, but I'm also thinking it is
not going to do anything, even based on their graph.
