And it was up to about 50F here and sunny . So I took a pretty chilly 2 hour ride covering about 35 miles with no stops. I have no heated anything on my bike, but it was still nice. My neighbor on his harley streetrod took a 15 minute ride , too. The other neighbor's full-dresser stayed under the cover. The one with the DR650 drove it around in the back of his pickup. The guy with the new CB900-something went around the block once, did a burnout in his driveway, and that was all.
It's pretty sad when I'm the most hardcore rider on my street anymore. What's the world coming to?

cal poly dual sport ride
Is anyone going next Sunday to the ride in San Luis Obispo? http://www.cppenguinsmc.com/dual_sport/Flyer_2011.pdf It is the primary fundraiser for a group of young riders and they put on a nice event.

nearly spring here
You have riders of bikes and bike riders.
I ran my Ninja the 20 mile commute to work the four days I work last
week. Was 20f monday, then I had to 24's and a 23. Returning home at
night was a balmy thirty-something. It's funny to see peoples reactions.
Nothing like being called stupid by a guy who rides sleds at 0f and
pointing that fact out to him. Doh!
