#ygrps-yiv-810300861 p {margin:0;}My observations, bullet-pointed:
Harley owners do not like anything that isn't slathered in H-D logos and chrome.
Sport bike owners snicker until they see you jump curbs and parking stops (or pull 45-degree wheelies).
Police (here in LA) don't even look twice at dual-sport bikes. They're looking for drunk bar-hoppers on cruisers, or road racers on sport bikes. I get waved through sobriety checkpoints all the time without having to stop.
I personally don't want a woman who is attracted to my bike. I want a woman who is attracted to me.
I get compliments on my '09 KLR all the time. At least once or twice a week.

Just wondering what people think the value is of a 2000 model. Piped and jetted. Only has 8000 miles on it.
