what does a klr motor weigh?

Post by steventbarnett » Sun Sep 27, 2009 10:51 pm

I keep trying to find an answer to this, but no luck so here we go again: I need to replace a badly trashed motor (the valve shot through the valve cover... but that's a story for after a few beers). Since I live in Panama, shipping is an issue. If I buy in the US when I'm there I can possibly check it as baggage, but I need to know what a complete motor assembly weighs to figure out if this is an option. Anyone know (or have one out of a bike that they could weigh)? Thanks
