Yes, the arrow is up... I think it's Mobil 1 15w50 The oil level is where it should be, near the top mark on the crankcase... I'm not sure, since I've only had the bike for about 3 weeks I haven't changed the oil as yet so I'm not sure what the previously owner did in the past. Yep, tightened them in stages, still leaks. I even tried using a silicon based gasket glue around the cap. I'm going to take the cap back off and check to see if it may be warped. Can't think of anything else. Thanks for the info...... Those plastic plugs can crack almost invisibly within the slots by which you remove or install them. Oil seeps through the cracks so slowly you can hardly believe it's happening.....but it is. Then you think it's the o-ring....but it's not. Then you again think it can't possibly be leaking, because you can't see anything which screams "leak!" and anyway it stops if you leave the bike alone for a day or two....but after you ride it there are suddenly oil stains on your brand new driveway. Replace the plastic plug(s). Mine both went south immediately following some paid mechanical work by a guy who proudly showed off the special tool he had for removing them. I'd been using a coin and a pair of vice grips. Go figure. Hope that helps. Mark
