Might be rotten in Bureau Co, but it stinks here in Lake / Cook Co just as much. Funny ILL law states no modified exhaust on motorcycles... but yet BLAAAAAAAAAAAA BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA is all I hear.. Now I admit I have a Flowmaster muffler on the Camaro, and happens to be kinda raspy sounding, but not loud. Only thing the shop had that would fit the weird config of the car, without waiting for stock to come in. Very nice heavy constructed muffler btw. Dooden A15 Green Ape

Pine Mountain in west central Ga. has a really nice riding road through FDR State Park. On the occasions I've backpacked in there to camp, I could hear the big twin HDs and their clones running the ridge up until dark (when the great equalizers come out : deer). That said, I was on my 05' Gold Wing & riding with a companion on her Moto Guzzi Breva 750 one afternoon when we passed a group of long distance bicyclists out on a club ride. A few miles down the road, Adelita & I stopped for a coke and cookie break. Shortly afterward, the bicyclists caught up and rode by with one lady calling out sincerely, "Thank you for riding quiet motorcycles!!" That was a 1st for both of us. =) eddie

I have a KLR and a Harley. Interestingly, I remain the same person no matter which I ride and they are both great bikes which give big grins. ed A17

I think, that if on a full moon you stand in your garage between those two bikes... you may see the end of the universe. -Jeff Khoury

Motorcycles are like sex: they are all good, it is just that some are better than others. I'm old enough to have owned at least one of all the Japanese bikes a BMW, some triumphs a BSA and a Puch. And yes I've had three Harleys. I loved every one of them, had a blast riding them, yet preferred one over the other depending more on the mood of the day than anything else. I absolutely love the lines on a 305 Honda Dream. I can look at that bike for hours and enjoy every minute of it. (I had one in high school and have hundreds of fond memories as a result) I believe most people think a Honda Dream is just a little weird in its' styling. Think of all your past lovers; wouldn't you go back for one more time with all of them if you could? I'd certainly go back an ride every bike from my past just one more time if that were possible. They were all great. Yet different. Ride Safe. Greg To: lwalker30016@...; jeff@... CC: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com From: edchait4@... Oh it's possible, regardless of physics or any other dumbassisics, there's probably a bunch of us multi-bike owners watching you guys make fools out of yourselves! Of course a great majority of the HD owners are tards, so I think mathematically the whining is warranted. Simple math and percentages, not physics. :) heheh g

I agree that some of it is deserved, however. ed A17
