My bike would start fine but leak fuel from the overflow pipe even when riding (leak more than what is in the bowl, heavy leakage) When I would stop riding and cut the bike engine out the leak would continue but eventually it would refrain from leaking. > > A few days ago I took the carburettor apart and cleaned it there was an awful lot of dirt in the top of the carb where the large diaphram was. Unfortunately I also took the pilot screw out to clean. When I replaced this I turned all the way to seat and back out 2 turns. There wasnt much dirt in the bowl just a few specs of dirt which i removed. > > Now I have reassembled the bike and am finding the bike wont start. > > Bike starts with easy start being sprayed in the air box but cuts out once it has burnt away. > > Any help would be of massive appreciation as i cannot afford to take the bike to a mechanic and it is my A - B transport. > > > > ------------------------------------ >

klr600 carburettor fuel problem not starting
I'd have to ~guess~ the float lever is still stuck.
in the down position before u cleaned it ,but in
the up position after. The float should move freely !
check for a hole in the float which would cause it to fill
with gas. You checked the diaphragm for holes?
