Ah, discussions about 'truth'. and soap boxes. and KLRs Let me dust my soapbox off a bit...ah, much better now. The original manuscripts (=source document) stated, "You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free" somewhat missing the biting portion of explanation. However, Fred's version is what scholars call 'commentary' on the text-- commentary allows the more complicated version to be understood by the masses, which also allows for a certain amount of entertainment. The entertainment was duly noted. Fred's version, however, captures the spirit of the text and the application is easily understood--though not the version I would use at 11:15 on Sunday. shrug. revmaaatin. a gentler, less bull headed KiLeRista
