This works BUT be careful... Only way I could inflate a handtruck (dolly) tire once, just could not get enough airflow and keep that bead on the rim, was either WD-40 or starting fluid I used and it hopped off the floor pretty quick. Dooden ( keep all fingers, toes and eyes that day ) A15 Green Ape

That was ether I believe. They sell it as starting fluid for hard to start engines that you want to burn the valves out of. I hear diesels will start on WD-40 though. I've heard that's a fairly common way to seat the bead on ATV tires -- pretty impressive! Chris Dooden wrote:

Once saw someone use a whole lot more fluid than needed. It was at a bachelor party and there was shrapnel everywhere. Somehow no one got hit, and the strippers didn't run away in fear. da Vermonster (ahhh, the country life)

I don't think I have seen a loss in mpg with my 685 kit. If I have, I'm sure it's due to heavy handed throttle control. It's a good mod, I reckon. Thanks CA Stu [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
