oxtar matrix boots vs tcx matrix 2 boots (comparison) nklr
I was the lister that bought, then returned the TCS Matrix 2 boot. The TCS
boots are not a bad boot but they aren't as nice as the Oxtar Matrix. Here
is the side-by-side photo comparison:

Subject: Matrix Boots
Listers,
I got some feedback this morning from a lister that has recently
purchased and returned the Matrix-2 boots after comparing them to a pair
he's owned for 50K miles.
After seeing his comparison I don't suggest you consider the Matrix-2.
They are not the same quality Matrix boot as what I've owned and used for
5 years.
Sorry about the misguided information.
Best,
Jeff

I can second the recommendation for the Combat Touring Lites. When you first get them you think that they will never break in but they do and they are great protection-warm(I'm in Kansas and ride year round) and once broken in--downright comfortable.
