16 tooth sprocket

For a diet of mostly street riding, the 16T is a great mod. It's just like anything else - use your head in selecting the right gear. If you use 5th gear at 40 mph climbing a 5% grade, sure, I'll bet it IS hard on the driveline. But for most cruising at 50 mph and up with minimal grades I think you'll like it and won't feel like you're hurting a thing. If you think you're lugging it, move the magic lever on the left case down to 4th gear... it's quite simple to do. Bill 15K miles now with a 16T sprocket on the street, and liking it. Only one chain adjustment so far, at 12K miles. --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2 /min or less. non-max, but motorcycle related

Hi all. For those of you who own a motorcycle with a readily accessible and/or non-locking gas cap, watch where you park your ride. I parked my Ural sidecar rig at the top of a hospital parking structure the other day and, evidently, someone siphoned out about 2-gallons of gas. I had ridden about 70 miles on a 4-gallon tank of old gas when I decided to fill-up. It took 3.774 gallons!?!?! That works out to about 18.5 mpg when I normally get 42 mpg. Scumbags are everywhere, even when visiting at a hospital. Watch where you park your ride or get a locking gas cap, if possible.
