klr for sale on craigs list

Hi all, please help me ID and locate a farkle that I have seen on some KLR's. The farkle is a tool holder what looks like a PCV pipe, with two caps on the ends, that attaches to the front frame. Who makes and sells those? Any info would be appreciated. Also, I am cheep, so if any of you have a used one of the cargo tubes that you want to sell, please let me know, and again, thanks. I made my own. I went to Home Depot and bought a 4 foot length of 3" ABS sewer pipe. I cut it with a hacksaw to the length I desired, then put two 3" sewer cleanout plugs on it (one on each end) and used two large stainless steel pipe clamps to clamp it to my skidplate.

I think the whole project cost me about $10 including pipe, end caps, and clamps, is that cheep enough for you? . Btw, others use PVC rather than ABS, but the reason I went with the ABS is because the sewer cleanout plugs screw right into the ABS, whereas with the PVC you have to glue fittings onto the pipe. I didn't want that extra mess . _E

You can get the kit at Home Depot.

I can get the parts and ship for $99.99, you just put them together, sales this week $99.00 + shipping $29.00, save time and $$$.......................... of course it's a joke, Home Depot or Lowes for about $10-$15 total?

You don't buy these tubes: you make them yourself. OTOH, I recently saw some pre-made, waterproof tubes designed to hold instruction manuals on farm tractors. A quick google search was not informative, but they're out there somewhere: smaller but substantially lighter in weight than the schedule 40 pipe style tool tube.
