It wasn't me Friday at 7 pm I was headed from Clayton GA to Asheville NC for the weekend on some of the best twisties in the southeast. Normally during the summer this route is packed with bikes. But in January I am happy to say that my KLR was the only bike on the road in my three hour ride. I did see a scooter when I went through Downtown Asheville but he did't score any points for style. I saw a NEW KLR650 at the Lancaster Metrolink station last night, It was locked to the bike rack, It had Mar 05 sticker on the plates, So I am assuming he/she has only had it for a few months. This bike was CLEAN, no scratches, but MANY mods, including; braided brake lines, IDS ST2, Bash plate, Renthall bars, Tourtech computer instead of gauges, D606 rear tire, brake master guard, aftermarket blinkers. Was it anyone from here? Dale Johnson Lancaster

I was out on mine last night but on the northern end of Lancaster County. Mar-05 sticker, but completely stock. Dale Johnson wrote:

On the Kancamangus Highway on Sunday afternoon. Typical green, with black painted, looked like aluminum, saddle bags. Anyone on this list? I wasn't on my KLR, but with the Chevy Avalanche club that was BBQ'ing on the side of the highway. - Rich

I guess I should state, for those of you who don't know, the Kancamangus Highway is in the White Mountains of NH. - Rich
