I would think the Honda XL is faster on acceleration. Sure, we all forever want more power,,, I don't think the masses buy a KLR for Power. It is not the bike for that. but when does power kill.. It's not the power, it's the brain that is controlling the power.

I can understand that. I didn't put an exhaust system and air system on my truck just for increase in fuel mileage. Uhhh 1000 bucks worth of stuff on my 5.3 L truck. How long will an increase on the average of about 1 to 1.5 miles per gallon take to pay that out????????? ;-)) But I'm working on it. I have a whole 30,000 miles on my truck in the last 5 years. ;^)....
