awesome hydraulic jack

Post by d_m_plum » Wed Dec 05, 2007 11:53 pm

Check out http://www.discountramps.com/discount-motorcycle-jacks.htm. I just bought one, $90 plus shipping. Thing weighs about 70 POUNDS, it's built like a HD truck. Even has WHEELS and comes with good strong tie-down straps. They claim it will lift 1500 pounds. I believe it. Fits my KLR when aluminum skid plate is on, might need an adapter plate if the skid plate is off. Only one minor issue - the anchor points for the tie-downs are too close to the big leveling screws. Had to put small u-bolts on the tie points to hold the tie-down straps a little closer to the centerline. No big deal.

We'd better hurry...
