2003 klr
I have been saving to buy a brand new KLR 650 in March or April.
What time of year does Kawasaki change model years?
I noticed at http://home.austin.rr.com/ironjungle/klrhistory.html that the KLR 650 color/graphics were usually used several years before a change, but the last three years (A14 -A16) they have made styling changes with each model.
I would love to know what the 2003 will look like before I commit to 2002.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

From what it says on their web page their new bikes usually start
hitting stores in the summer, I'm planning on buying mine before
april but I'd also like to know what the 2003 will look like before I
buy a 2002, they dont have an email address and I doubt calling them
will get us anywhere!

Color debates aside, I'll just be happy if it makes it back for another year.> If you guys want to see what a 2003 KLR650 will look like then > you will have to wait for them to begin arriving at the dealerships > which is usually right after July 4. Tom, I can tell you about my A16 purchase dates. I went looking for KLR's back in July/August 2001, and couldn't find any locally. I was told the 2002 would arrive in September 2001. They did arrive about the second week in Sept., But since I bought mine from a small Kawi dealer, I didn't get mine till the 3rd week of Sept. This was in central Texas area.
