Anyone have any Stock turn signals they would like to sell. Three out of four of mine are cracked or broken on my A3. Thanks, Bill

I think it was RM who pointed out that the BikeMaster replacements have very brittle stems, but that one could transplant the blinker portion off the BM replacement onto the KLR OEM stems. FWIW. Z DC

Do you need the whole turn signal or just the lens? The lens is much cheaper than the whole assembly. Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com http://www.canyonlandsmotorclassic.com

I don't recall. Search the archives, I guess. RM

It was me. At least I think it was. But the signals I got were K&S. Easy enough to swap if your OEM stalks are still good. Tumu rock aka dat brooklyn bum

Bummer, Ross! I had the same quick disconnects on my Triumph, but they were OEM. As you've discovered, it's pretty easy to nick one of the rings. I was pretty lucky with mine and didn't get a leak until about three years into owning the bike. I used Sylglide to keep the rings in good shape and make them a little slipperier, reducing the chance to nick 'em. When I finally did get a leak, it was from the plastic connector actually cracking. In fact, Triumph issued a recall on all of them and replaced them with a newer design that was supposed to reduce the cracking problems. (I heard Ducati had the same problem as well.) I decided I didn't trust the plastic ones any longer and found some chrome-plated brass ones made by Colder, IIRC. Those worked quite well, but you still had to take care of the o-rings. You may be able to find the Colder ones at your local Triumph or Ducati shop. need turn signals

Post by mrodub » Mon May 21, 2007 10:26 pm

Hello, I just got the bike back together after a long Winters nap and some much needed maintenance. To my surprise my turn signals aren't working. I'm getting nothing from either side. The manual hints toward the relay but it worked perfect when I parked it. Could the relay go bad from just sitting over the winter? I'm hoping I didn't disturb some old wiring while adjusting the valves. I checked all my connections and wiggled all the wires. Would a faulty switch result in neither side working at all? Could it be a fuse? I hate electrical problems...Please advise Mike
