I saw one and even sat on it. The seat is much harder. I seems just as high to me as my 03. The one I inspected was white with kawi greeen. The new faring with dual headlights looks really cool. Much bigger rear rack. Hales moters in Prescott Arizona wanted $5400 plus tax. I also saw a red 06 brand new with huge aluminum rear side boxes and a big rear luggage compartment sitting on the rear rack. All for $4,500. I would definatly have to think about that one. The luggage alone must be worth $1200 or more. A new 06 with all the goodies for $1000 less than a fancy new 08. From the front the 08 looks like a crotch rocket. Very cool man. Lots of room for nifty things like gps or satalite radios. The speedo assembly has changed and is very sharp looking. I want both of them plus a VStrom 1000, a Hayabusa, a Gold Wing and I will keep my 03 Honda VTX 1800 for sentimental value along with my beat up green KLR. What is a doohicky I never got an answer.
