crotch leaks

Post by Howdy » Wed Apr 11, 2007 8:34 am

Yesterday I tried my new set of Tourmaster Caliber Pants in a 2 hour rainstorm to Tampa and return... They leak in the crotch area. I've read somewhere else, that others have had a similar problem... Any solution, other than returning them? Thanks; Wayne

How's the water getting through? There's not much you can do if the pants let water hit the zipper (short of replacing it with a tough to pull waterproof zipper), but at least with 'stich gear the usual culprit is the zipper tape or seams in the crotch. SeamGrip works well to seal both of these. http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/Seam- Grip-p-16451.html> -- Blake Sobiloff http://sobiloff.typepad.com/blakeblog/> http://sobiloff.typepad.com/klr_adventure/> San Jose, CA (USA) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

upgraded headlight switch question

Jim, Call your supplier.... I haven't installed mine yet but I recall them saying something about switching wires if the HI/LOW beam was backwards. Should be a really easy fix. Chuck C San Diego, CA
