Hello, 2 questions; does anyone know of a good website for off road trails and do you have organized trips? Thank you, Michael

Sport Shale down on Beach Blvd in H.B. used to carry some great off-road maps. Haven't been there for 5 years, so not sure if they still do. HtH, Denis

There are several rides in California available on my site. Note that I've never been on these rides, they were uploaded by someone else, so I don't know anything about them other than the description that accompanies the upload. Some look to be a mix of on/off road, and others look to be pretty serious stuff. It's at http://bike.stu.ph Pat dawnpatr0l wrote:

The 7500 mile restriction is only if you LIVE in CA and buy a used vehicle (be it a car OR a bike). If you live outside CA and buy a new bike, move to CA you can register it legally with any amount of miles on it (DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of J. I'm not sure they'd take it without the sticker. Aside from selling a "new" bike, there aren't any smog restrictions/tests required on used motorcycles in CA. I did a quick look at http://www.dmv http://www.dmv.ca.gov/,> ca.gov/, and it looks like the bike is OK if it has more than 7,500 miles on it. If you don't have that already, a drill on the speedo cable will add them nicely. They did sell CA bikes in the rest of the country, so if your bike already has the smog cannister, that will take care of it as well. At any rate, check that link for more info. Krokko -- J.
