Nice bike, but I wonder how it'll do offroad? Looks like it's all streetbike. Don --- Steve Pye wrote:

Actually, the '07 Wee is available with ABS. I am interested to ride one, see if it could replace my Wee. Hopefully the seat height will be a bit lower, that way I can get one for the wife. ----Original Message Follows---- From: "E.L. Then there's the new Triumph Tiger: http://www.motorcycledaily.com/18september06_tiger.htm. Looks like the Tiger has cast off any illusions of being trail worthy and joined the ranks of the sporty, yet comfortable and capable on any paved surface crowd, which is a good crowd to be in. It's interesting that Honda USA doesn't really have a bike in this category... Jim

I almost had a 1990? Tiger, the old style with twin headlights. I love that bike. I was getting it from a dealer in CA, it was a demo bike, so I chickened out, but I always thought that looked like a great bike. --- Jim Priest wrote:

Yeah, Honda's marketing team seems to have missed the idea that there's a lot of middle-aged, long time riders out there who don't want to be crouched over on sport bikes or stretched out on cruisers, but want practical, comfortable, capable, sporty bikes. Suzuki gets it. Ducati gets it. Kawasaki gets it. Honda for all their engineering prowess doesn't seem to get it...yet. It's a shame because I've been a happy consumer of Honda products of one form or another since 1974, yet nothing in their motorcycling product line right now appeals to me. It sort of reminds me of the American manufacturers who were so enamored with the high profit margin SUVs that they let the small car market get away from them and now that SUVs are going out of favor their product lines, absent competitive small car offerings, are out of sync with the market. Then again cruisers and sport bikes will probably be popular with their respective and substantial demographics for some time to come.
