My butt loves my Corbin. I can ride 500+ miles or sit on it for 10+ hours and my buns still feel great, as long as I'm wearing something reasonable underneath my riding pants (no seamed jeans or creased underwear, please!). -E

I'd think twice about the Corbin. A friend bought a KLR with one on it. He hated it. I have it on my bike now and I hate it. It's hard and it's hard to find a good place to sit. It wants to make you slide forward. I always thought the Corbin was the be all and end all. That's the way it's talked about but I'm glad I didn't buy one. I should say this one is the dished version maybe the flat one works better. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Next-gen email? Have it all with the all-new Yahoo! Mail Beta. The previous owner of my bike installed a flat Corbin. I've been riding it about a year and think it is one of the more comfortable seats I've used in nearly 40 years of riding which covers 13 different motorcyles. This last weekend, I took the seat apart and carefully shaved the underside from the front portion of the foam cushion, leaving about 1 1/2 to 1 5/8 inches thickness. I reshaped and smoothed it and re- riveted the cover back in place wit a few extra wrinkles. It now somewhat resembles the Corbin dish seat and it took me about two days to get used to it. I do appreciate the lowered seat height of about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches it gave me altough it was time consuming to get it right. - Steve in Niceville - more time than money. --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Charles DeMarco wrote:
