Kawasaki's classic sport-touring machine. Purchased in September 2005.
Still over 2 years of warranty left, 4800 miles of which over half are
from one long trip to Canada, perfect condition, maintained
fanatically. Fun bike (rides like an overweight Ninja sportbike) and
very comfortable, but the trip to Canada showed that my knees are too
wrecked to deal with the riding position for long distances, so I'll
just have to make do with my KLR (which I can ride for 500+ miles at a
stretch without knee pain). Farkles included: Heated grips, tipover
bars, Givi top-plate, Weber heated vest socket, auxiliary fuse block.
Various other farkles available seperately (oversize windshield, bar
risers, peg lowerers), I took them off because for commuting and for
shorter trips in the twisties stock is more fun.
Asking $6474. 408-718-6176, 650-537-6808, or EMAIL for more info.
