I have a green 1996 with a red headlight fairing from a German model.
I guess the previous-previous owner was in the air-force and took it
with him to Germany. It's unique and clearly the best. On the other
hand, if anyone has a 96 green headlight fairing, please let me know

The rarest one of all is the Factory Truck Bed Liner paint option.
Only a few of them are in the United States.

Just another hoax foisted on the public. You just can't believe anything
from engineers, Kawasaki or otherwise. Aren't these the same guys who
created the original doohickey? The truth is that the green ones, especially
the dark green, is faster, safer, tougher an ddefinitely more desirable.
Withess the fact that in 2006 they offer the green as an alternative to red.
Thats because some of the buyers are catching on.

What makes you think there were any left over, hmmmmm? They are being kept
in a secret climate controlled bunker, deep in the mountains of Utah. Its
called "Area 16" or something like that. Might be near Moab. But... before
they preserved all the really good ones, I got mine.
