I bought an"EASY-PULL" perch and clutch lever at my local off-road shop. Then I cut about 2in. off the ball end so that I can grip the bar with my "pinky&ring" fingers and pull the lever with the other 2 fingers. I also drilled a small hole next to the lever mounting bolt and put in a cotter pin. This moved the lever closer to the bar for less pull.I now pull the lever all the way to the bar when disengaging the clutch and when engaging it I always have a good firm grip on the bar.Not nesesary for the road but great for the woods. Total cost-about$15.00-$30.00 depending on the maker of the "EAST-PULL" Make sure clutch is always in adjustment so that it does not slip.
Try it...you`ll love it.............................LARRY
