nice 49 state klr gas tank for sale in san diego, ca
I accidentally bought a non-CA tank off eBay for my CA-model KLR.
I've arranged to buy the CA model tank, now I need to get rid of this
one. If you want it, it's $100 plus shipping if you're outside the
San Diego area.
Some pics are at:

Why not just use it? The 2nd tube only feeds back to the Carbon filter on
the left rear of the bike.
If your still looking for a CA tank I have a 2000 from my bike I can sell.
Make me an offer.

practical and comfortable bags
I am soon going to be the proud owner of a 2003
C-model (European) KLR 650. That is, as soon as the
shop manages to "unblock" the engine. In Switzerland,
engines can be blocked (chip, carb or flaps) to 25kW
for riders under the age of 25. It's also cheaper to
insure such bikes. I found a fantastic KLR but only
realized that its engine was blocked the day I was
going to buy it (I'm currently in Zanzibar, Tanzania
and my father's doing all the dealing and buying, and
he didn't notice the lack of power or speed when he
tried it out for me...). Anyways, within a few days
the drama should be over and done with and I should
have it rightfully on my name.
Now comes the tricky part. Before shipping the beast
down to Africa where it'll feel at home on pot-hole
laden roads and offroad tracks, I'll be touring Europe
for approximately 3 weeks with it. I've been looking
into bags and the more I look into them the more
confused I become... To begin with, all hard cases are
absolutely OUT! There is no way I'm putting a big ugly
plastic blob on my bike... I need something soft,
waterproof, comfortable and practical. My dilemma is
choosing between the magnetic tankbag or the tailbag.
And if so, which (hoping that it may be available in
Europe). No saddle bags or panier bags either though!
Anyone have any useful advice? I'm currently looking
at Oxford and Givi bags (if anyone knows them...).
Thanks
