Good morning, For $5.99 Radio Shack will sell you a Vehicle Alternator/Battery Tester (#22-112). I have had one on my KLR for over a year. Works fine and like me it is cheap. I had it velcroed to the little shelf behind the windshield. George, fully charged in Escondido, CA ------------------------------------------------------------ From R/S: Check your charging system quickly and easily! Use this tester to check your car battery or alternator. The display features six LEDs that light in different combinations to indicate charging system condition. Plus, the magnet on the back lets you position the automotive tester on any convenient steel surface. * 6 LEDs light in different combinations to indicate charging system condition * Magnet on back lets you position the automotive tester on any convenient steel surface What's in the box * Auto Volt Tester * Owners manual
