i know what we need!

I think that we should have a national set of Dual Sport trails, interconnected where possible. Coast to Coast, and Canada to Mexico. Right up over the Appalachians, across the plains, over the Rockies, and again over the Sierras and Coast Range to the Pacific. Like the Appalachian Trial, except open to motorcycles. Will it ever happen? Probably not. We could frighten some deer and a mountain lion or two. I can dream, though.

Others share your dream. Maybe some day it will be complete. http://gwt.org/maps/overview.html -Bryan

With the deteriorization of our Interstate and highway systems, we are actually well on the way.

Hi Mike, do a google search for Trans-Am trail. Also, there is a Mexico-Canada ride I hear about through District 37 AMA, starts here here in So Cal annually. I reckon there are lots of dirt roads and trails out there, just need to go looking for them. Thanks CA Stu
