Post by Rick McCauley » Mon Aug 08, 2005 12:41 pm

I have a friend who is a County Officer. I asked him that quetion. His response is that society has come to the conclusion that bikes are loud. I guess over time, it became the norm, and the law is rarely enforced. I think it has gotten out of hand, and it is time to calm things down. I have wondered how they get away with all these loud pipe cruisers these days. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Easy...the loud bike exhaust pipes are drowned out by the "boom boom boom" BS car stereo noise. ;^) To me... those boomers are FAR more ANNOYING than any motorcycle exhaust I've heard. Scott --- Ron Criswell wrote:

I understand your point, but even back then adults understood it was music. Not their type, but it took talent. Rap is just vulgar, talentless, noise. Even new hardcore rock, or heavy metal is tolerable. I don't like it, but I can tolerate it. That rap stuff drives me nuts. Even some of my yonger buddies who listen to Heavy Metal don't like it. I am not going to encourage you by explaining my thoughts on rap. Rick A17 Bill Ryder wrote: "Rap?" All Rap? So you know and state as a fact, that all Rap is vulgar and takes no talnet to produce? Okay now you're just depressing me. Do I actually live in this world? How about just letting people listen to what they want to without your judgiung them for it? Okay Rich, for real...you guys are just saying things to make me type now aren't you? I get it. You guys are more clever than I'm giving you credit for. No one can really still think the way you do...I hope. -Bill --------------------------------- Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Better known as the IRS? Oppps, did I say that out loud? I'll look for my audit notice in the mail coming soon... :) -Bill

But he wouldn't get the vote of the religous right I guess if he didn't quiet those who are "stirring up the devil" so he'd probably elect someone to the Supreme Court that would amend the constitution to strike down loud exhausts, if not motorcycles altogether, and then just ride an open piped Harley around on his hundreds of acres of ranch land. > > Kerry, let's face, would only ride a motorcycle for the camera so you won't be able to tell anything by hoping to watch for what his muffler is doing.
