Want to get your KLR noticed ? Do a "Rumble Ride" with about 300
Harley's in parade format... Everybody I know that watched the ride
go by noticed me for sure. Kids held there hands over there ears for
the HD's and pointed and shouted "look at that bike dad" when I went by.
Even wiped off some dust off the rear of the seat for my wife.

Being an old, old dirt biker I understand proper bike prep and haven't had any fastners fall out - ya know, they will fall out of the best built MX bike if you don't do your prep work. As for the dohickey, I have over 75,000 miles on my stock unit. Pat G'ville, NV> > Rick A17 > > Todd Larson wrote: > > > -You mean, like the KLR with fasteners that fall out > and stupid doohickey? >

Andy you noticed that also... On a ride came across a dressed out HD in pieces on the road, stop to offer assistance until the Sheriff showed up to take over, talking to the guy and his co riders a deer jumped out in front of him and he nailed it. Of course its getting dark and I had over a hour to go... I noticed whenever I seen a deer I could pull in clutch and rev it high and quickly 3 times and the deer would bolt off away from me everytime. Maybe the tone they dont like on the OEM exhaust ?
