Just finished pating my A16 plastic with Krylon Fusion Safety Orange.
One thing I would like to know, is the tank stickers covered with a
clear coat or something. I started to pick at a edge and it seems taht
it is covered with a overcoat.
If I can removed the tank stickers, will there be a big dull area under
the stickers?
Thanks in advance for any help.
top case suggestions?

Yes, the stickers are covered by a clearcoat.> One thing I would like to know, is the tank stickers covered with a > clear coat or something.

I used a hair dryer to warm the sticker / glue. Peeled right off. Nice shiny finish underneath

I assume you are talking about the warning stickers. Yes, a hair dryer works great. But , I think the original poster was asking about the KLR graphics that are on the side of the tank. They are under the clear coat. Jimbo> > Rick A17 >

Jim,
Made my own plate (20" x 17") for $25, then added a 20" x 17" x 8" aluminum
case for camera lenses I had lying around. If you want pics e-mail me.

It is decals covered with a clear coat. You will need to sand it off. I
wouldn't use Fusion on the tank. I understand gas will take it off.
