Wasn't active in me. I've never wanted a rocket. I am, however, currently considering a street-only bike. The rainy season starts soon, and the mighty KLR is somewhat miserable in the rain, even with an oversized windshield (even the big ClearView leaves your arms and shoulder getting a walloping). In addition, it's rather tiresome at high speeds unless you put on a windshield, and the alternator lacks sufficient electrical power to power full heated gear (jacket, gloves, pants). Finally, while you can go long distances on a KLR, it's not the world's most comfortable long distance tourer, due to the handlebar vibration, the lack of full wind protection, no real cruise control, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's more comfortable than your typical crotch rocket, but a Goldwing it ain't. I can managed maybe 600 miles on a KLR before I've had enough for the day. So, having gotten the urge to buy a new KLR out of my system (my current KLR is just too well sorted for my purposes and with as many miles as it has on it, it makes sense to just ride it until it disintegrates rather than try to sell it), I'm seriously considering a Concours as my second bike.
