I have the Explorer boot. I like it alot it is the only dirt boot I have had. The only problem with it is it is not water proof, water get in from the silver elastic in the center. shock blowing seal
Has anyone had any experience with the mono shock blowing a seal repeatedly?
I have replaced the shock twice and it has blown twice.
The first setting was 2 and the second one was at 4.
Any help,
Bret in NM

Ummmmm yeAAAAAA! They just do that, blow seals out after awhile. I bought a 94 (in 2002) with 9500 miles on it and the shock blew it's oil contents out a couple months later at 13,000 miles. I wanted a new expensive nice shock but couldn't afford it, so I rebuilt mine for about $90 with fresh 15 wt oil, seal head, and bump stop. It worked really well, but of course was still to weak. The shock seal just blew again 2 weeks ago at 47,000 miles. I'm finally going to buy the killer, multi adjustable, rebuildable, shock for it.
