Did Nordhoff Ridge which is above Ojai. Ojai is near Ventura, CA; just inland. You have to go to the Ranger Station in Ojai and get a $5 adventure pass and they give you the combination to the lock on the gate of the fire road. GREAT RIDING, single track and fire road and creeks and streams and great views. Famous hang gliding launch areas are around there, too. Very few other people around.
