I have had a $3.95 digital clock on the top triple clamp of my FJ1100
for 5 years. It is held on with Velcro and uses a lithium battery. It
has large digits and give a date too. I bought it at PEP Boys long
ago.
For weather I carry the Old Indian Weather Rock.
If rock is wet it is wet out,,,,if cold it is cold out and so forth

DC,
I use an old waterproof wristwatch on my bike. I took off the band and doublesided taped it to the dash. Has been there 20K miles with no ill effects and works great.

I just spent an hour on the net trying to find a clock made for a boat
dashboard to fit to a KLR, it would have to be waterproof and vibration
resistant. All I could find were phoney tourist items. Has any one else
found any usable dash clocks ?

I bought a cheap waterproof wrist watch wrapped some foam around the cross bar and attached the watch. When you need to see the watch at night you just reach over and hit the button.
