Anyone try the Duro Median tire yet? They are wicked cheap at Dennis Kirk. My brother just got some for his XLR but we haven't mounted them yet. Eric A12

My buddy recently installed a set on his A15, prior to our trip to New Hampshire. More of a street tire than dirt but we travelled over a lot of gravel roads with no adverse handling characteristics. Almost 5000km ( 3100 miles ) so far and the tires seem to wearing well. Based on what I've seen so far I'd recommend them. Cheers, Steve A11

Just rode 3000 miles to Moab and back with a set or Duro Medians... recommended by Jake and a few others. Worked great. The rear is maybe half gone and the front still has 2/3 of it tread life left. West

It seems that the Duro's are the new hot item here. After all that has happened to me, with my Kendas, maybe its time for a change. Anyone have a url, so I can take a look-C at these Duro's. Hope there as aggressive as the Kenda 270 TIA Dave

I now have about 9000 miles on my rear Duro: maybe 3/16 tread depth left. 30% offroad. Works better than the Gripster ever did, on loose surfaces, paved twisties, and in mud. Took a set of Duro's from Oregon to Moab and back... 3000 total miles. Handled good, not as noisy as the GP 110's and average about 6000-6500 miles from the rear... many more on the front. I mounted up a new Bridgestone TW 42 on the rear before I left. I put in 1,500 miles in four days in 90 degree heat at mostly sustained 80 mph and now it is half worn or better. The tire stuck real nice in the twisties, even drug the toes of my shoes a few times and it did great on gravel roads too. However, i'm thinking of trying an inexpensive Duro since I just burn rear tires off every bike i've ever owned. Does anyone have a mileage report on them or a good source for them? Do they stick well in turns? My bike came used with an IRC GP110s but the back was pretty worn so i'm not sure how well it gripped or how long it lasted, but the front works good and even buzzes in turns. Should I just get another IRC? Thanks, Dean

I put a Duro on the rear.I'll be if it didn't outlast the stock tire. For $38 I'm impressed.Id handles well in the dirt,a LOT better than the stock tire.No problems on road and looking like 7000+ miles maybe! I found the bike would nearly pull up steep sandy banks!Yeehaa I said. whose the guy who had a set paid for,mounted and balanced for $100?I bought the irons, wrestled withit all afternoon and saved how much?nothing by the sounds of it.I'd like to say it was fun but...... Now I want a knobby.I really do.WILL IT KILL ME AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS? How do MT21 's do on paved 80 mph twisties?
