klrs in daytona ?

Post by ronfaffy » Mon Jan 24, 2005 6:22 pm

Is anyone planing on going to Daytona for bikeweek? We're heading down from PA. to get away from this cold and snow. One of the days down there were going to ride to Ocala National Forest to do some duel sport riding. We will most likely head there on Thursday the 10th. I found out about riding there from the Florida Trial Riders web site. If anyone wants to ride along, email me at ronfaffy468@.... I was never there but the web site says theres hundreds of miles of trails. Sounds good to me. Ronnie Pfahler

I can't go to daytona, but on a somewhat-related note, my friends have dared me to go to Laconia and Sturgis on my Barbie. I'm trying to talk them into putting some money where their mouths are. ;-) -GFM

I'd like somebody to pay me to go to Sturgis, too. But it sounds to me like you should pay your friends for inviting you.

I went to Sturgis in '02 in on a ZX-6R. Parked on main street every day, no problems. I saw several KLR including one that looked like it had been around the world the hard way. I plan on going to Laconia on the KLR this year. Jud Jones wrote: --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Guillaume McDowell wrote:

If you go let me know I am in Maine and would love to take a ride over to meet up with others... I have been riding My XT600 for 2 years here and have seen about a handfull of Dual sport bikes up here. I just bought an A19 and can't wait for some better weather. D. Libby
