eastern sierra rendezvous

Well, I got double booked and have to be back over the hill by Saturday afternoon but I'm still planning on coming up early Friday or thereabouts. I did a 3 day solo camp trip into the Mono Basin earlier this month and am ready for more, new tire or not. That Mex dinner in Bridgeport is great, plenty of klr parking and check it out, indoor dining this year! See you guys there, Dale A15 Stockton

WHAT??!! Screw you guys.......I'M the one that has been on the phone with Bill AND James (both are buying house projects this month) for the last 3 weeks saying "You just HAVE to come on the ride, you HAVE to come on the ride, you HAVE to come on the ride!" I've also been doing this with Tim Neilson (did it again yesterday at his house) and I did it for a week or two with Allen Maxfield who lives right next to me. SHEEESH, I never thought it would be SO much work to convince guys that already have KLR's to go out and have a friggin blast RIDING the damn things with a bunch of other guys with KLR's! glad you all are coming So to recap, so far, it's Matt and John from SF Allen, Bill, James, and Moose from Santa Rosa area Duncan from LA, who JUST bought a 98 KLR in Oregon and stopped by my house for 24 hours last week (I don't think he is home yet) all committed to the ride 100%, and maybe Tim from SanRafael. Every year I spend a week camped out between Mammoth and June Lake riding my XR. I know all the trails in the area between Lee Vining and Bishop. If I can make it next year, I will lead an all-day ride at the ESR that will take you on some of the nicest trails and jeep roads in the Eastern Sierras. It will have the Cal Posse "EPIC" seal of approval stamped on it. R <- finish out the day with a swim in Hot Creek (nice restrooms for changing).

intermittent starting problem

Post by Randall Marbach » Sat Oct 30, 2004 2:16 pm

Hi ALL Looks like my intermittent starting problem is a faulty starter relay, located under the black cover on the left side of the bike. I swapped it with one from my A9 and that seemed to clear the problem right up. Do I have to go to the dealer to get a replacement or is ther a better source?
