Aha! My senior moment has subsided, and I found that part number for clear
turn signal lenses as shown in "dressed in black". Dennis Kirk, #210150.
$4.99 ea. Plus amber bulbs, of course. Cheap trick.
By the way, another cheap trick is an aftermarket Acerbis front fender (I
used one sized to fit a '92 Honda CR 125). Gotta re-drill the mounting
holes, but it gives you a LOT of color choices for around $20.

what the?
clear turn signal lens part #
Chris,
How'd you determine a '92 Honda CR125 front fender would fit a KLR650 correctly with redrilled mounting holes? By the way, how well does the CR125 fender fit the KLR? It seems a 12-year old part would be more difficult to find and more expensive than one from a newer model Honda or other bike. I'm just guessing so maybe I'm wrong.
At some point in the future I'd like to repaint my KLR650 all black. Since the front fender takes a lot of wear and tear I thought maybe it'd be better to avoid the inevitable scratches and chips in a repainted fender and buy one that's already molded black.
Do you have any thoughts about that?
Thanks,
Rick

From what I heard (as opposed to knowing from direct experience) if you want a kicker, you'll need the clutch basket and primary gears from a pre-96 as well as the rest of the kit.
