big guys, long rides, and seats (esp. corbin)

Post by Dave Watkins » Mon Jul 26, 2004 11:41 pm

Hi All, There's a local gal here in Calgary that does seat rebuilds recovers etc. I'll post her details once I get hold of her. For around $225.00 Canadian (if I recall correctly) I had my stock seat stripped, new foam in three layers of varying densities 2 inches wider on the sides and a slight dip in the foam at the tailbone. The new seat, a $35.00 Canadian sheepskin, and my butt just completed a 13 day, 10,000 KLM trip with ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. Sounds good Dave, I'm interested in a better seat as the Corbin has never really broken in to my satisfaction. Bugbrains

the hipercharger - rerun but still fun

Hey, only 100+rhp? Damn, I'd only pay postage for that small increase in our beloved KLR650 stock rwhp. Well maybe postage and a 12-ounce can of V-8 . In keeping with the 103hp offer to us low-brow guys, I'll take 4 of 'em, but one of them I will pay premo bucks for - I will grant an extra 0.00 cents for - the one - that 'tweets'. (thanks - fun stuff) Mike Torst Las Vegas -----Original Message----- From: Howard Morris [mailto:whtnline@...] Sent: Monday, July 26, 2004 8:53 PM To: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_klr650] THE HIPERCHARGER OK guys and girls, I saw this thing at super freds site.
