mike : yep , i am checking out used here in the big city and maybe
i'll run into something nice . i'm not in a big hurry to buy so i'll
just keep looking , learning and thinking . ------- mark : as far as
riding the world goes -- i don't have the time or the finances but
it is good to know that the klr has the capability to ride the
world . i have done a fair amount of riding [touring] though on old
triumphs and more modern zukes but the zuke was a street bike [gs
1100] and the triumphs [tr6c] and old beezers were similar to the
klr in the fact that they had high pipes and skid plates . ---- back
to the klr , yep , i'm looking forward to the klr as i'm thinking
that it is sort of like a jeep and i'm thinking that i'd like the -
ims - military gas tank and olive drab paint job and a few other
items on the klr. ---- my question is , other than the tank , how
well does the plastic klr bodywork take to painting ??? --------
thankyou ------- arthur
i hope i'm doing this right --- gents
