ride to work day
I haven't seen anything posted on this, but my boss just told me that July 18
(this Wednesday) is National Ride To Work Day. I ride to work almost every
day as it is, so this hardly requires a change of plans for me. How about
you guys?

ride to work day
I saw an article in the San Francisco Chronicle on this, with
comments from an A15 owner (Brian, you on this list?)
Seems they are driving a petition to get tolls waived on the Golden
Gate bridge for cyclists, which would be way cool. What a drag to
have to dig for $3 to get through there.

You live out there where it "never rains and the girls only warn ya," and you're complaining about the $3.00 toll?! Come join us in Massachusetts for a year and you'll go back home thinking that $3.00 is far too little... ride to work day
Hi all, I'm new to the group and live in Canada, Qu bec precisely. Always
ride to work, around 130Km or 81 miles back and forth. Just bought a 97 Klr
and when I wave at other rider they don t response. Had a 83 GPz 750 before
the Klr and other rider response when I wave them. So is the Klr people are
some sort of alien for other rider or it's just me. Can't figure it out.
Wont stop waving at other rider anyway.

That's odd. I have no such problem here in the Bay Area of California. My KLR is battered and beat up and looks like a total rat bike, but even the Harley riders wave. _E>Hi all, I'm new to the group and live in Canada, Qu bec precisely. It's that 96-99 blue. They just feel inferior. Last weekend I rode up to Deal's Gap and I was amazed - seemed like EVERYONE was waving - Harleys, GoldWingers, even the guys on sportbikes blowing by me doing 125mph on the Dragon would wave.> jobin.francois@... wrote: >>Hi all, I'm new to the group and live in Canada, Qu bec precisely. The wave has graduated from a closed fist "Power" sign back in the '70s to
today's left hand out at about 4:00 "hi there"
Most riders wave nowadays, including most - but not all - Harley riders.
I didn't ride to work on Wed - had to use truck to haul stuff.
Today I'm in CA, going to see some big trees, NKLR unfortunately.
