Approx. how much more gas do I have to go when I hit reserve? I know I can go fill and subtract tomorrow at the pump, just curious tonight. Thanks Bill --powermonkey35 bill grishaw [;^| www.rainmakerstudios.com www.804music.com www.s-end.com m 804 502 5464 s 804 771 1300 please enter all 10 digits

Bill, Quoting from my '02-A16 manual: "If the fuel runs out with the tap in the ON positon, the last 2.9 litres (0.77 US Gal) can be used by turning the fuel tap lever to the RES postion. Martin Burlington Ontario Canada PS: Snowflurries forecast for end of week :(

I have found that the specs are a little off for the fuel tank capacity's. My tank only holds about 5 1/2 gal. I go on reserve at about 5 gal. I have about .50 gal's left for reserve. MrMoose A8 (Barbie and Ken special) PS: What is a Snowflurrie??

I'm trying to get a handle on just how far I can go with my A14. The first time I had to switch to reserve, I filled up immediately and was surprised that it only took 4.9 gal. Yesterday, I rode on reserve for about 22 miles, and the bike took a little over 5.3 gal. I could still see some fuel on the left side, but I didn't want to run out during Friday afternoon traffic here in San Diego. I read the article about the mod to siphon gas from the right side, and seem to remember that he was seeing about 40-45 oz trapped over there. Can I realistically get another .3 or .4 gallons? What is everyone else seeing for practical fuel range? Thanks.
