While tryin got figure out some of my front end difficulties many people have recommended a fork brace for the KLR. The question is which one. Happy Trails, Superbrace, Dual Star ? I also believe there is a lister who manufactures braces as well.
Which one does everybody like. Ease of install? Quality of construction? Tire clearances?
Thanks for the opinions.

~ I have a Happy Trails brace. Very well made and fits great. Noticable difference
~ in stability - but, I must add that the LR fork springs made a HUGE difference
~ in aggressive off-road riding stability. Both LR and HT brace recommended.
Which one does everybody like. Ease of install? Quality of construction? Tire clearances?
~ Easy to install the HT brace - 20 minutes.
~ Quality is great. No clearance issues.

stock blue handguards?
Anyone have a set of stock blue (U.S. '98/'99 color) handguards that they'd
like to get rid of for a few $$? I'm not looking for off-road protection,
just want something to keep the wind off my mitts when it gets cold.
Thanks,
Bill Skinner
