Does anyone know the compression ratio of the KLR. I would never go into my engine but if I was rebuilding it and I knew the compression was real low I would look for ways to increase it to the 9 or 10 to one range or slightly higher. Chris 2004 KLR

I am late on this - I swapped my horn for a low-tone Blazer "Highway Blaster" Part number BH103FBL 12 volt (duh, but being clear) 132 decibel. Works perfect. Pepboys retail.... It is LOUD! - I mounted it in a way that is not stock, though. IMOHO, It kicks ass, even after many water crossings at speed - right Markb? Mike Torst Las Vegas
