correction to " accessories for sale"

I purchased a new 2004 KLR 650 just last week and would like to adjust the rear shock preload. However the adjuster seems fairly tight and I don't want to apply too much pressure and strip the gearing. Can someone tell me how the adjuster should feel and how much pressure should be appied to change the preload without damaging the mechanism ?

There's a picture and general info at the bottom of this page: http://klr6500.tripod.com/misc-info.htm It does move kind of hard, but you won't damage it - you just have to overcome the existing tension. It won't hurt to shoot a little lube into the mechanism, too.
