----- Original Message ----- From: Ron To: Fred Hink Sent: Thursday, April 01, 2004 9:02 AM Subject: Hyper Charger Cmon folks!~ I just looked at the dyno chart for the Hyper Charger - for an 03 KLR 650 A - 107+ horse power! You gotta be kidding. I had one of those things on an 88 C/I Evolution engine H-D and it made less horse power on the dyno than a plain old S&S air cleaner. I'm not saying it won't help. I certainly looks great - but the chrome is definitely out of place on the KLR. Black would look good or simply primed to paint to match the white - blue - or green of the KLR. I would like to see a dyno run from someone other than Curyakin - What jetting would be needed? Say with a Super Trapp pipe - how many disks? AND - what will it do to my fuel economy - range? I'm honestly not trying to by overly critical - but I either read the dyno chart wrong - somebody who did the chart got the bike screwed up with a Ninja or they were on drugs - or ??? If I thought I could extract that much snoose out of my KLR I would order one in a heart beat!! Thanks Ron [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

The date on the chart says it all...

Hook line and sinker. I saw that one coming as soon as I clicked
the "New Products" link. That might be a "framer" for the trophy
wall!

I'm still waiting for Gino to pipe in. Several years ago he had the
list going on some new model, and it ended up getting several folks
until he finally had to tell them APRIL FOOL!! I think it was some
twin or something. If Fred had made the prices look not so far out
of wack, he might have gotten even more bites.
Thanks Fred, I got a nice laugh out of this, that's for sure.

Oh NO! I just ordered six of them so I could have a 600% improvement in HP
by stacking them together.
4-1-04, Paypal - $618.45 w/ shipping already made this morning.
DO ya think Fred will send the money back?

My left front fork has started to leak slightly. Is this a repair I
could make or is there a lot of specialized tools req'd?
